About RCAC
The Rubbertown Community Advisory Council (RCAC), formed in 1991, exists to provide a public forum for communication between member companies and the community to jointly address issues in the Rubbertown area of Louisville. The council includes named community representatives, agency members, and representatives from eleven member companies. The council meets monthly to discuss issues of common interest to improve the overall well-being of the Rubbertown community. Member companies include American Synthetic Rubber Company, Bakelite Synthetics, Carbide Industries Inc., The Chemours Company,

Dow Chemical, DuPont, Eckart America, Lubrizol, MSD, Trinseo, and Zeon Chemicals LP. RCAC meets on the second Thursday of each month at varying locations in the Rubbertown area.
